Talk the Talk

This morning as I let the carpool kids out into a snowy day, I called after them, "Be Brave, Piglets." Which Leslie recognizes from the Winnie the Pooh movie, but she turned around to make me aware that the other boy with her, "probably didn't appreciate that." Therefore, as an act of kindness to those close to us, I am adding a list to my sidebar of favorite quotes used around our house. Where I actually recall their origin, I'll add that too. Sometimes for our family home evening game, we take turns saying a movie line and guessing what movie it came from. I'd love to hear some of your favorites too!

I'm sure that "other boy" with you could use a little Winnie-the-Pooh culture.

A couple of my favorite winnie phrases "other" and "blustery".

That was supposed to be "bother" not "other" :)

I always say, "Do not worry Petree, lots of things cannot fly: rocks, sticks, twigs...Spike."
-Land Before Time
