Survivors

Memorial Day was one of the best I can remember.  We visited the cemetary with my parents and my grandparents to decorate Jacobson and Ashment graves.

Then we went to Swan Valley and participated in all the festivities with all the cousins.  It was great to see my cousins and meet their children.  Good to see my aunts and uncles, and especially my grandparents.  It is not very often that I do, and they are such neat people! We travelled back home through Wyoming and enjoyed the scenery. (At least we tried to, as much as 9 people in a car for 5 hours can...)
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, disappeared in a blur of end-of-year activities all supported by mom.  We will not discuss personal hygiene or state of the house here.  Sufficient to say that the first load of laundry for the entire week went in on Friday.  For my washer, it was probably the equivalent of going on vacation in the Bahamas. This photo is Camille's back as she receives her Presidential Excellence (or some fancy name like that) Award.  Good job, Camille!  We lived through it all!  Survivors of the last week of school.  Just thought you'd like to know.
