Halloween 2008
Watch out neighborhood! I think we had more candy come home than most stores stock this time of year! At least that is what you would think to see the wrappers around the house. :(

Temple Square
We are back! The kids and I spent an afternoon in downtown Salt Lake over UEA weekend. We visited temple square and the Beehive house. Jacob was on a scout camp, so he isn't in the photos. We had a great time. We haven't been downtown to look around since Christmas lights!

Camera Down! ugh!
Wouldn't you know that my camera would quit just when I decide to blog. Too bad too. Ethan cut the neighbor girl's hair 2 weeks ago and his own this week. Now they are wearing the same cute buzz. I would love to post a photo of them!

New at our house...

This is the new office. It has been a bedroom and a family room since we moved here, but now I think it has found its true calling. The paint on the bottom is bright orange. Wow! But Nathan has been trying to cajole me into orange for years. Since he pays the mortgage, and does the painting........(sigh) who am I to stand in the way? Truly, I love it. But one has to tease. So far, the computer, the piano and the mail are all that live in here.
This is my new couch! Everyone applaud! It is the first new-from-the-store furniture we have ever purchased. The camera didn't quite know what to do with the pattern, but it is blue and white striped. The really cool thing about this couch is that the upholstery is a slip cover, and they were on sale, so when fall comes, the couch will be beige and white check.
This is the other side of the living room. We have a long window seat, and I re-covered it to go with the couch. Eventually we'll put up some things on the walls too, but one thing at a time.
