Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins
1 spice cake mix
1/4 c. oil
1/4 c. water
4 eggs
1 c. canned pumpkin
1/2 c. sour cream or plain yogurt
pinch of salt
1 c. chocolate chips
Mix by had until moistened. Fill 24 greased muffin cups. Bake at 350 for 18-20 min.

Which child was Child #1?? If I had to guess I would guess that it is Caleb.....although, I know that there is a hippie fascination with multipule kids at your house!:) So funny!! When I saw the title of your post I was already smiling knowing it would be good!!
Natalie, I think it was Caleb, but I don't remember for sure, waking up to the situation only in time for the punch line. :)
